Description
The Forager’s Bucket hat is a delightful display of five way symmetry, reflecting the same character of our human form (head and limbs). The radiating five fold symmetry stores the golden ratio within.
A generous bucket depth and 24.5 inch circumference will fit most. The brim width is ~1.5 inches.
The brim is crafted from two layers of fabric and circularly stitched for shape. An evolution on popular bucket hat designs, there is no downward slope in the bucket brim, because each layer is cut from a continuous circular annulus. This is a labor intensive method for crafting a brim that creates a confident stiffness and aesthetic enhancement compared to the usual seamed bucket brim. The circular stitching creates a natural waviness.
