After years of hand stitching weird hats, we bought a high speed straight stitch Juki and started to get serious.

Design philosophy:

• Mind brane hats are all original, in house patterns.
• Always natural materials (wools, hemp, cotton), materials made in the USA whenever possible
• Fabrics are washed once and cut in the open air of Washington state, sewn in my garage by a ‘small team’
• No burden of excessive branding and logos
• Each hat will be one of a kind. We love heavy, thick fabrics, but working with them can lead to inhomogeneities in production.
  • Because of this, we overstitch reinforcement points to increase the life span of the garment.
• Returns accepted for major defects.

We’ve expanded “one size fits all” to people with heads of greater size. Every hat is 24.5 inches in circumference. This fit over my hair when it was at it’s longest and should fit most. I hate a tight hat. These hats will be too large for some. Maybe you’ll still like the way it feels.
